Hello,
Can Altium files be imported into Eagle Pro?
(I am referring to Altium schematics, PCB files and library files)
Also, is the import process perfect, and no discrepancies are produced
whatsoever?, the imported Altium files , when converted, will not even
need checking over?

Hi Grigson,

They can be imported, you have to export the schematic and PCB files as
ACCEL-ASCII files. EAGLE can then import those files, at this point
Libraries are not supported.

The import works pretty well, however it's not perfect and there maybe
some need to clean up the design after the fact.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do for you.

Hi, I am also having trouble with this. I have received an exported
ASCII .sch file from a colleague who works in Altium, but I am getting
the error that says "Wrong file signature: DProtel".
What instructions can I give him so that he exports something Eagle will
work with?
Thanks,

Rafael
